Help, Firefox broke my Facebook!

Firefox+Facebook has broken for me -- it greys out when I do stuff. Anyone else experiencing this?

Facebook seems to have some wacky JS optimisation where it loads new pages by appending them to the current URL as a label. (E.g., when clicking through the photos on an album.) Unfortunately this has stopped working for me -- it just greys out the window when I try to scroll through. Right and left arrows sometimes work, and it's not only photo albums that are broken.

This is a Firefox issue -- it works fine in Chrome. I'd really rather not reinstall (I have 25-odd extensions and some of them are quite hard to find), has anyone else come across this / have an idea how to Google for it? I haven't installed anything new, though I install all the updates when they arrive.

I think I found something blaming it on Adblock but I disabled that and it still doesn't work.

Vista Ultimate SP1, Firefox 3.5.7, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7 GTB6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Response by poster: Forgot to add, reloading the page clears the JS stuff in the URL and it loads properly. So I can see all the images in an album by refreshing the page after every click.

Happened to me too, though for the last days it seems to have gone away. It does seem adblockers can mess up the humongous JS of the site (I'm not using an extension but the utility AdMuncher, though), and in my case stopping the adblocker solved things. Chrome did (still does) work ok with AdMuncher, interestingly. I can also confirm your reload behaviour on Firefox to avoid the funky JSed URLs to mess up things. In my case, seems an update to the AdMuncher filters took care of the issue (probably some other users complained?), so I can't give you any solutions for your situation but will piggyback on your question, it would be nice to know.

Best answer: Sorted it, it was the latest update of AutoPager. Yay for brute-force testing.
