How can I display old QSL Cards in my home?

I have a few hundred QSL Cards from the 1950's. Many of them have very interesting designs and I would like to display them in my house somehow, I'm not quite sure whats the best way to show them off or mount them. Any thoughts?

I think the ultimate conversation starter would be if the cards were laminated into a coffee table top or underneath a nice piece of glass.

I remember seeing in an old radio magazine a guy had hundreds of QSL cards hanging on his walls in clear plastic sleeves. I don't know how to describe them other than to compare them to the fold out photo sleeves sometimes found in wallets. You should probably check with the ARRL.

Also, they'd be awesome on Flickr.

I personally would frame each one, individually, each in a frame that represents a unique size/frame type combination. Some I'd use mattes for, some I'd size to the frame, and some I'd do with double matting or other less common treatments. Then I'd put them on the wall of a room in a scattered placement, so that the wall becomes the exception rather than the rule.

Oh, one more thing: you could use a company like Blurb to make a series of two or three large picture books, and keep them placed artfully on a prominent table in your living room, so that people are inclined to pick them up and read about your collection (which you can then show them if they show an interest.)
