Best Security Software for Plug Computer

What would be the best wifi & network security auditing tools to run on a plug computer (ie Shiva, Guruplug) running Ubuntu?

I am considering a plug computer for this application because it can be discretely placed and is very portable. I would be accessing the plug computer from a MacBook Pro. I am proficient in MS OS's & OSX. While I do have a functional knowledge of Linux distros, I'm not as proficient in these OS's as the others.

I can't recall if any of these have wifi, but if so they'd make a nice rogue squadron platform. Throw Debian on it and you've reduced the problem to what debian network pentesting tools there are.

A quick browse of debian packages.

* aircrack
* airsnarf
* wireshark / ethereal / pcap
* nmap
* macchanger
* dsniff
* openvas

You'll probably get more mileage out of Debian than Ubuntu but at the embedded level they're not very different.

Don't overthink this. Just run Backtrack on it, booting from a USB stick (or even possibly the SD card), and load up VNC Server to access it remotely. You'll get all the security tools you'll ever need, without having to reinvent the wheel to do it.

I would encourage you to think just a bit harder than deadmessenger would like. Sheevaplug/ GuruPlug are ARM chips, but I see no armel build of Backtrack. Definately take a look at Backtrack's work though.
