Record me a speech

Windows voice recorder limits me to 30 minute recordings. I need a software that will allow me to record unlimited clips, and I really, really hope it's freeware.

I've got a presentation I need to make a complete recording of tomorrow, but I'm not having any luck finding a recording software for a windows system that allows a computer to take an unlimited amount of input. I've got my microphone and such all set up so that my netbook can plug in and record, but it stops at half an hour on the native windows software. What are my software options? I'd continue looking, but I only have a few more hours to prep for tomorrow!

Best answer: Audacity is free. The 1.3 versions have recording length limited only by the hard drive space on your computer (or 58 billion hours, whichever comes first).

Best answer: I would try Audacity.

Best answer: Audacity will do this. I am using it right now to record some cassette tapes and it is telling me I have 642 hours of recording time left available, base don the size of my hard drive.
