8mm & 16mm to DVD

One of my coworkers wants to have some old home video recordings on 8mm and 16mm film converted to DVD.
Does anyone know of a good place to go in the Portland, OR area?
What about online? Who has a good reputation?
If you want 8mm and 16mm film transferred to DVD and want to have a top rate done of it, then I highly recommend Pac Labs in NYC. They have a nothing of a website, but they are family owned and specialize in film transfers. Their contact info is above.

Seconding Pac Lab. They did a bang up job with my parents' 8mm wedding film, and have always done well with the super 8 film I've shot.

I did a telecine of my super 8 home movies a number of years back and paid dearly for it.
A good friend of mine just did like 12,000 of super 8 at Costco and he is really happy with the results, and like everything they do, it was very reasonably priced.

Seconding Costco. Probably not the greatest results in the world, but good enough, and the price isn't terrible.

I used Sunray about a year ago and I had no problems with them. The prices were good and the turnaround was quick.

I just used home movie depot to digitize my parents' films, 8m and 16m, from the 50s, and couldn't be happier. My mother just loved seeing the old movies. Don't wait.
