Any good iphone battery places in this town?

I have an iPhone 2G whose battery has not been holding charge well lately. I need a local to Los Angeles replacement.
A search of the archives here has not lead me to an answer, so forgive me if this has been addressed before. My phone is unlocked and being used on T-Mobile's network, which I'm satisfied with. I don't want to switch over to a Google phone while the whole exclusivity crap plays out. Also can't afford to buy a new one through other channels. So a battery replacement will have to do for now.
I'm looking for a place in the greater L.A. area that will allow me to bring the phone in and either walk back out with it repaired or come back the next day for it. As I rely on it quite heavily for work, I'd rather not mail it out. I live in the San Fernando Valley, but I'm willing to drive as far east as Pasadena, far west as Chatsworth, and as far south as Downtown L.A.
I've already made a tentative appointment with this place. So I'm curious to hear anyone's experiences with them.
Thanks, hive mind!

IIRC, the 2G's battery is soldered, so it's not really a plug-and-play battery swap. That may affect how long you will be without it.
I ran across this on a quick google search.

Response by poster: royalsong, it hasn't been under warranty since I bought it, as I did a software unlock. Far as I've heard, they won't touch it if that's the case, even if you pay to have the stuff replaced.

This is assuming it's not under warrenty any longer.
if it is, restore it to the factory conditions and then go into an Apple store?
