Looking for older edition of Lord of the Flies

I'm trying to buy two copies of Lord of the Flies for an art project but..

I really don't like the current editions cover. I want two copies of this older edition. I was going to buy used copies on ebay.. but as far as I can tell there is no guarantee that I'm going to get the right edition. Know of any online book stores or book stores in the Boston area that might have the edition I'm looking for?

I'd contact these sellers on Amazon, all supposedly selling this edition.

Check out ABE. It's best to shop by ISBN since a lot of online retailers use stock cover images and they are not always accurate. Looks like the ISBN for that edition is 0399501487.

Somehow I knew before even clicking the link that it would be the edition I was assigned to read in high school. But yes, seconding ABE.

Rodney's in Central Square has lots and lots of used books in great condition.

If Cambridge is within reach, I'd call the Bryn Mawr bookstore and see if they have a copy. If it's anything like the New Haven one used to be before we had to close it, it accumulates books like this with some frequency.

Response by poster: Awesome I work in Kendall so I'll go to Rodney's after work.. if they don't have it then I'll take the web route. Thanks everyone!

ABE is great, I've also had good luck getting specific editions from Alibris.

I am pretty sure I've got that edition, with that cover (in a box of books in my garage, which are destined for Goodwill). If you didn't find it at Rodney's, would you like me to make sure, and then just send it to you?
