Google Earth looks great. The menu text, not so much.

When I use Google Earth the menu text (not text in the map screen, but on the top and left side) is ugly and unreadable. What can I do to fix it?
You can see a screen shot here.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and the latest version of Google Earth. I suspect that there's some 3D-rendering happening to Windows' text renderer that is making a mess. I've got an ATI HD4800 with the latest drivers installed as well. I've messed with both Google Earth's graphics settings and those for my Catalyst drivers but nothing seems to fix this.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
