Storing phone numbers in Thunderbird (or any standards compliant) address book question. The excitement continues inside...

I recently installed Thunderbird and have run into an issue with how I store contacts. Up until now I have stored couples in the same address book record with all associated information. In doing this I have stored both people’s mobile phone numbers which Outlook and my Palm have allowed using both the Mobile field and a User Defined Field which I labeled Mobile Phone 2. The Palm displays it fine and Outlook at least stores it. In Thunderbird I cannot seem to discover how to replicate a user defined field with my own label. This makes sense to me and I would not think that it is allowed.

Before I take the leap and script out something to move all Mobile Phone 2 numbers into Pager, has anyone found a way to store 2 Mobile phone numbers in Thunderbird? Or at the very least, how do you store a couple and both of their mobile numbers?

Depending how much info I have, I either make a seperate entry for each of them, or just put it in a different field with an (explanation) in parentheses after.

My main hang up has been people with more than 2 email addresses, which I've just been adding to the Notes field. There are 4 Custom fields also but I haven't figured out a way to rename them from "Custom 1" etc.
