Can you help me identify this neon beer sign?

This neon sign hung in the window of a bar. Sadly, it was inadvertently destroyed. The only remaining record of the sign is this crappy iPhone photo. Can you help me figure out what it is?

I'm thinking Miller Lite, because that first L looks miller-y, and it could be for letters ending in e. But where would the Miller be? Also, I can't find any pics of a working neon sign that look like this.

Ideally, I want to buy a replacement for the sign.

Best answer: It's Lite. There is often no "Miller" in the Lite signs.

Miller Lite is correct. It's the old version before they started slanting the LITE. Old Miller Lite signs didn't have Miller. This is the sign here.

It sure looks like Miller Lite to me too. Here's a similar image (with "beer" in it). Per the owning page, you might try contacting the owner to see if he'll part with it or else help you find another on.

My dad used to do work for a few local beer distributors. They usually ended just throwing old neon signs out (especially after "neo" neon signs replaced them) or selling them to employees. Your best bets are probably antique stores, I know some places make reproductions but they tend to be >$300 or so.

Best answer: As for the missing 'Miller,' before it was called "Miller Lite," it was "Lite Beer from Miller."

Response by poster: Thanks all. The thing that was throwing me off was the Lite Beer, from Miller business. I didn't know that. Also the slanty bit threw me off when I first started looking. Now I can buy my beer sign with confidence!
