TV Tuner for Vista 64

I upgraded from XP to Vista 64 and my TV tuner won't work. What TV tuner are you using with Vista 64?
What I want is an inexpensive TV tuner with 64 bit drivers that will work seamlessly with media center. I don't mind installing drivers from a CD, but my fantasy is to just pop the device in (PCI, PCI-e, or USB) and have Windows set that sucker up. This is how my old tuners worked in XP SP2. I watch news and C-SPAN in standard def, so cheap and simple will work fine Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Does it just (so far) not work fo you, or have you confirmed that it doesn't work for anyone?
I bring this up because - on the off chance you haven't exhausted google searches - sometimes you can get drivers from the chipset manufacturers that'll work, when Windows Update and the board manufacturer have nothing.

First of all, you need to become comfortable with downloading updated drivers. Those that come with Windows, or even those found on the product's CD, may be out of date and that could cause problems.
So, for your current TV tuner, I recommend you determine the brand, google their website, and see if they have current Vista 64-bit drivers (and if not, try the 32-bit.) It's far more likely that there are appropriate drivers out there than not.
If you must buy a tuner (unlikely) then you may as well go with one of the HDTV tuners. Even though you don't need it now, you may value that feature in the future. Plus, I'm not even sure they make non-HDTV tuners any longer...
I've used the same Dvico FusionHDTV5 RT Gold tuner for about four years. It works perfectly with media center and they have been very good about updating drivers. If I were going to upgrade though, I would go with one of the Hauppauge PCI-e tuners for the added performance.
