What does @ mean on a Canadian highway sign?

Why is there an "@" symbol on some Canadian highway signs?

I'm driving through Nova Scotia for the first time. (Very pretty ...)

On some of the highway signs that have symbols to indicate services (e.g. gas pump, man sleeping in bed under roof, etc.) there is also a square with an @ symbol on a blue background. What service is that indicating?

It's on a blue background like the H for hospital -- unlike all the other ones, which are brown -- so I thought maybe it has something to do with health care. But what could it mean?

I sure hope somebody knows the answer to this because I'm going to be driving around for 4 more days and it's driving me crazy! :)
