What Dictionary does the Dashboard widget use?

Which dictionary does the widget in Dashboard use? (Mac OS X)

I really like the definitions it gives, plus the etymology, usage, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it uses the Dictionary.app from Apple Mac OS X, which is the combination of the Apple Dictionary, Wikipedia, the Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus, and the book you're looking for: the New Oxford American Dictionary.

Best answer: I believe it uses the dictionary you've set in Dictionary.app, which IIRC by default is the New Oxford American Dictionary.
