Nightly News Clip

The mother of a friend of the family was on NBC's Nightly News tonight in a short segment regarding soldiers away from tloved ones during the holidays. We missed the news broadcast today, and I can't find a clip of the video.

Looking around for torrents I TV shows, I found plenty of the usual suspects (sitcoms, cartoons, etc) but nothing on this newcast tonight. Heck no places that offer downloads of new programs period.

This would really mean a lot to my fiancee and brother in law. Can anyone help me out, please?

Thank you in advance.

Er, make that "loved ones" and "news programs period".

Have you tried contacting the station to see if they will give or sell you a copy? They must get requests like that all the time and probably have a system set up to accomodate it.

Or you could try here.

Try calling the local news affiliated with NBC, explain the sentimental meaning of the segment, and see if they can hook you up or put you in contact with someone who can.

I work for MSNBC.com. We often encode videos from NBC Nightly News (they're our partner) and put them on our site, though not every segment. I can ask tomorrow. In the meantime, poke around here..

Doesn't Nightly News rerun at some ungodly hour of the morning, also? Like 2 am or something?

Also, are you sure it was on tonight and that the topic was soldiers away from home? It certainly could have been a last-minute addition, but that topic does not appear on my daily budget list. Do you know which reporter it was?

I have that episode on my TiVo, and unless I really blatantly missed it somehow, I'm pretty sure there wasn't any such segment. Maybe it's a different night?

Response by poster: OKay, clarification from the brother-in-law:

There was a soldier, Cory, who was interviewed about the latest in Fallujah.

This place will almost certainly have it, but it may be spendy.
