Recommend News Blogs

JournalismFilter: Please recommend good blogs/online columns by individual reporters.

I really enjoy reading Ta Nehisi Coates' blog at The Atlantic, Jasmina Tešanović's work on BoingBoing.net, and Benjamin Kabak's SecondAvenueSagas, not just as good sources for news but also because there is something rewarding about following a particular author's path through the world on a day-to-day basis.

Are there particular online writers whose blogs or articles you would recommend for the similar reason? For example, do any individual writers at any of the collective political blogs stand out to you? Journalists at newspapers or magazines? Random individuals with a passion for some topic? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
