Getting old posts removed from a blogging service

How can someone get pitas.com to delete their archived posts?
My friend used to use pitas.com for blogging. She would like to delete some old postings that contain personal info, but is unable to delete these posts, despite still having her password and login. It seems that once you archive the posts, they cannot be deleted. She has tried emailing the site administrators using the address provided on the site, but has received no response. Is there anything else she can do to get her postings removed from the site?

Can they be edited? If so, go back and edit them to be empty. This is actually probably the better strategy in terms of dealing with search engines.

Response by poster: biggity: Thanks, I've passed that suggestion on to her. We'll see if it works.
mikepop: She is unable to edit them either, IIRC. The way it worked was that you would be able to edit/delete posts up until they were archived, and after they were, you were unable to edit or delete the archived posts.

My usual approach to these sorts of things starts with politeness, followed by cycles of wait-investigate-escalate. No answer? Looks up the "whois" information on the site. Find the upstream provider. Track down the owner. Email them. Mail them. Call them.
It's pretty much "Give me what I want and I'll go away."

Response by poster: Hmm, she emailed that guy, yet she still hasn't received any response.
