Seeding torrents on new computer

I recently changed computers and want to continue to seed a bunch of torrents, but have lost the original tracker files. What can I do?

I transferred over the actual (large) downloads but deleted the original torrent tracker files long ago. Aside from trying to find and download the trackers a second time, is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your help!

I would find the original trackers and set the download folder to the file's current location.

Starting a "new" tracker could work, but might dilute the seeds.

Did you use uTorrent? Your .torrent files will be (in XP) Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\uTorrent. Just copy this folder wholesale to your new computer and it should all work out, assuming your downloads are in the same location. If not, you'll have to do a binary search/replace on resume.dat and change the path for all the torrents.

If you're using another client, that client was probably saving the torrent files somewhere too. Poke around.
