Name That Tune.

Name that tune! Can anybody help me identify the sample used in the track "No Rest for the Weary" by the Seattle hip-hop group, Blue Scholars? Amazon has a snippet here. thank you.

It may not be a direct sample. It sounds pretty chopped up.

great song - the melody isn't familiar to me, i'm afraid - it does sound pretty chopped, as originalname37 says

you could try asking them directly (Sabzi is the guy making the beats)

Have you tried midomi? Don't know if it will be helpful, but I'm sure it couldn't hurt.
