"Other User" is only option after CTL-ALT-DEL on my Vista computer. I don't know what happened, but now the two "normal" users of the machine are not listed at the login screen. The only user listed is "Other User" with a blank picture icon. I can enter my normal user name and password and I do get my desktop, but what is the problem and how do I fix it?

Man, I don't really know, but maybe it's a virus you've downloaded? If not, it would have to be a pretty massive glitch in the administrative settings of your computer. Have you tried the support website for your computer manufacturer?

This may depend on your flavor of Vista, see this link. If you're on a domain you are at the mercy of group policy. If not you may have a registry setting to change, see this link.

I would just flashback the machine to an earlier point in time before the problem was happening.

Just type backup in the start box.
