Alternative living arrangements due to the economy in NYC and beyond?
I am writing a piece about people who have chosen alternate living arrangements because of loss of job and the downturn in economy.
I would like to conduct brief interviews with people by phone which should not take more than a few minutes.
I am interested to hear for instance:
Had to get a roommate(s)
Single Retired moved in with best friend
Moved out of the city and in with parents
Considering co housing
Moved from NYC to another state with cheaper rent
Couldn't afford the rent and Landlord lowered the rent
Experience with rent deals in NYC/Brooklyn because of the high levels of vacancies
Any and all experiences welcome.

Yeah, the "question" here is basically "tell me stories".

Are you not allowed to ask people to provide this kind of help for reports, articles or whatnot? I'm new here, so I didn't know his question was inappropriate.

You should post this on the HARO list, it is more suited to that venue.
