How to reblog news from around the web

I am trying to aggregate and distribute news about an organization from all over the web. I already have a handle on the distribution side, but I need help on aggregation and publishing part. I am looking to put together a system that imports RSS feeds, displays the items from all the feeds and allows me to choose which ones to post into my blog. Any ideas?

I have access Blogger, if that helps, but I could also do this with a stand-along tool.

I know reblog exists, but it hasn't been in development in five years and has almost no documentation.

Tumblr's kinda clunky for this work, so a real bloging tool is probably the way to go, but I might be wrong.

I certainly appreciate the help!

FeedWordPress does this for WordPress. Drupal can do it also, although I forget what tool is required.

For Drupal, nothing other than core (the default download) is required, as it includes the aggregator module. You may get some better options from some of the contributed modules, though. See Drupal's Syndication module category.

Best answer: Google Reader combined with a feed for shared, stared, or tagged items.
