Name that childhood toy! Does anyone remember the name of this kids-learning-laptop from the mid 1990s?
I am trying to remember the name of this laptop toy I had when I was about 10 or so but I am drawing a blank.
I remember it being gray, green and purple, clamshell design. It had the game "Fleet" on it, which was almost exactly like Battleship. There were a number of "programs", ranging from a calculator to a Word Processor and various educational games. It may or may not have been made by Vtech. There was a printer attachment which printed receipt-sized "documents." The screen was tiny; maybe 3 inches tall and 6 inches wide. No mouse attachment like the lucky kids of today have. The laptop toy was definitely targeted to an older-than-Dora but younger-than-IBM sort of "tween."
That's about all I can remember. I don't know how accurate my memory is -- any or all of these details can be completely made up, I don't know. I tried Google, but no luck. Thanks to any and all.
