Sci-Fi shows no love for BSG these days

Will the Sci-Fi Channel show the first half of season four of Battlestar Galactica before they show the second half?

I realize that you can't predict the future, and unless you work for the Sci-Fi channel, you have no way of knowing this for sure.

However, due to a lazy DVR and a bit of not-smartness on my part, I missed the first 4 episodes of the first half of season 4. And due to my home computer being a bit on the old, wheezy slow side, I can't watch them online.

So based on previous season airings, does the Sci-Fi channel usually run a BSG marathon of sorts before they show the new season, or am I probably going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD?

Best answer: Generally, yes. They usually will show a marathon of the previous airings before starting up again as a way to get people up to speed.

If I had to guess, I'd say, yes, they would replay the episodes. That, or, they will do a "how we got to this point" special.

As for the scheduling of the replays, that is anyone's guess. They could do it over consecutive weeks in the show's normal time slot, or every evening over the week before the premier.

Yeah, according to the schedule, they will be showing BSG and something call "BSG: Essential Elements" from 8AM - 9PM on Jan 16. 4.5 starts at 10.

They don't give us episode names, but there's 13 BSG timeslots -- there are 12 episodes in season 4 (2 for Razor, 10 regular). I assume that they'll be showing all of them.

They're also apparently available on iTunes now.
