How can I scan book barcodes and sell them online?

I have a USB hand held barcode scanner and I have an enormous pile of books I need to scan into some sort of usable database for sale online. What software would be most useful and where would you recommend selling them online? I'm using Windows XP Pro.

I recommend selling them online at Powell's. (but I work there, so it's possible I'm biased)

Books are identified by UPC.

Half.com lets you sell them this way: http://sell.half.ebay.com/ws/web/HalfSellHome?halfMetaTag=books

You can scan them for free into LibraryThing - an online resource that lets you build your own library.

I believe then you could export the resulting library (complete with ISBN numbers) and move that into excel or some other format.

From there you could possibly import or at least figure out a way of streamlining the process to get them listed on eBay or Half.com or wherever.
