Firefox update hosed my No Squint

[Firefox Filter] The latest Firefox update seems to have hosed my No Squint add on. How to repair?

I rely heavily on the No Squint add on. Unfortunately, when I updated to Firefox 3.0.4 today, No Squint stopped working. In fact, trying to manage the add on from the Options window causes the window to freeze.

Is there any way I can revert to the previous version of Firefox, preferably without having to re-do everything?

Thanks

Best answer: OK, never mind -- I found an old version at Hippo, and amazingly, re-installing it kept all my old No Squint settings, bookmarks, etc.

Phew...

Anyway, warning to other No Squint users, don't bother updating yet.

Or, you can crack into the extension itself and change the maxversion. I usually do something really high like 9 (with the whole point being that it'll work when FireFox updates again).

In general, for extensions that aren't up to date yet (or ever will be), you can go to about:config and add 'extensions.checkCompatibility' as a boolean value set to false.
