America, it's time for our desktops to CHANGE.

Please help me find a good desktop background image, with which to celebrate the election of Barack Obama as 44th president of the USA. Right now I've got this one up, but Barack's head is all down in the corner and it's hard to appreciate.

Have you looked through the Barack site's offerings?

You can also download the artwork and make your own.

Not anywhere near the right size for a large desktop, but I really love this picture.

If you're of a nerdy scientific/technological bent, you might try an image from Nanobama.

I'm thinking of using this one from the Big Picture.

Obama: Stuffed with hope.

My desktop is randomized, but this is what's on it right now and for the next 5 minutes or so.

This is the entire front page of the Chicago Sun-Times today. I wish the picture online was bigger, but maybe it will do as part of a montage? Looking at it gives me chills. (The good kind...)

Hey has anyone found a definitive people-around-the-world-celebrating photoset? The ones on huffpo leave me wanting more.

I like this one — it plays with our preconceptions.

Oh my God, Obama is a Mormon! Why, why, why did I not hear about this before the election?!?

The Huffington Post has some awesome Obama family photos.

Right now my desktop is, simply, this.

I have no idea how to go about finding a still for this specific moment, but the lasting image for me was at the end of Obama's victory speech. As Biden and the candidates' families walked away, Michelle stopped to wait for Barack, who was still out on the stage acknowledging the crowd. Has anyone seen such a photo? (And naturally I think it'd make great wallpaper for the OP.)

Also this, with individual frames via Reddit post.
