Looking for long small gloves.

Where can I buy nice XS long gray gloves?

The ask mefi crowd has always helped me out when it comes to finding where to buy nice clothing as gifts so I'm coming back for more.

My friend let slip that she'd like long gray gloves (not leather, suitable for business-apparel type work), but I'm a little worried that the gloves I've found won't fit her. She's an extra small and the gloves I've found at J. Crew and Nordstrom are all "one size" gloves. Does anybody know whether these "one size" gloves would fit an extra small hand or where I can buy extra small gloves that are similar (or better)?

Best answer: I have tiny, tiny hands and Nordstrom gloves fit all right (except for the pinky, but then again mine is exceptionally short). If she's anything like me, she's probably used to non-leather gloves not fitting quite right.

It looks like maybe Amazon might have what you're looking for. I randomly clicked through a few of these, and a number of the gloves seem to come in multiple sizes, rather than the "one size fits all." Obviously, they have all sorts of styles--plenty nowhere near the style you're looking for, I'm sure--but there are a lot here, so you might find something.

Also, you might try Etsy, actually. You might be able to find a designer who can make something to cater for her size!

As a petite woman with super tiny hands, the general rule is that the more you pay for something, the smaller it will be. I wonder if Ann Taylor or Brooks Brothers sell gloves? Their clothes fit me well.

Remember, you can always buy stretchy liners to take up any bulk, and these are guaranteed to fit. I'm in Chicago so layers are definitely required to survive winter here.

You're a good boyfriend.
