At the Mefi London election night meetup, of course! At Wood Green, kindly hosted by Optamystic.

Obviously, watch the BBC. Hopefully there'll be more like this, and a US version of the Swingometer to inform, confuse and obfuscate.

Being drunk will also help.

There are some watch parties being organised by Democrats Abroad UK, ideal for members of Team Secret Muslim but less good if your affections are with the POW-Plus-Palin Posse. The only Googleable London event, at £35 a head in a Yates Wine Lodge of all places, sounds dire, so go to Optamystic's house, which sounds much better. If you do go out and about be wary of somewhere open "til late" that might shut about 4am - about the time West Coast polls close and President-Elect Ron Paul will be making a historic victory speech from his almighty blimp.

Yeah, I have to say that the BBC's coverage is great and has been very comprehensive this election cycle (there are some interesting blogs to look out for too on the BBC news website.) So good that I've been watching it here in the States instead of other US networks and not just because I'm an expat.
