YNPN, Y or N?

I'm thinking of starting a Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) chapter in my city. Has anyone ever joined or started a chapter? What is the organization like?

I'm on my YNPN chapter's listserve, but haven't gone to any events. From what I can see, it's not very active beyond a monthly happy hour.
