Help me remember the name of this song.
I hope I'm not too vague. The song is from around the 60's I think, and it has the kind of sound The Drifters has.
It's about a guy complaining about his life, something about a couple in the apartment next to his that just fuss and fight and possibly (though I could be just imagining it) some animal outside his window that makes sounds all night?
I don't think its Up On the Roof, because that doesn't mention anything about a couple fighting.
It's been nagging me for a few days. Hopefully this isn't a wild goose chase and I imagined it all up.

Thanks iconomy, but thats not it. I finally remembered another part of it and Googled it. Its "A Quiet Place" by Garnet Mimms.

Ah, well... in case you like this lyrical theme I was going to suggest Lazy Sunday by the incomparable Small Faces.

Iconomy was kind of right, in that the Paragons' "I've Got To Get Away" (or "Man Next Door," which the Slits covered in 1980 or so) were both radically altered versions of the Garnet Mimms tune. It's also been remade as "Johnny Dollar" by many reggae artists.
