Voigtländer Bessamatic Needs a Bath

Where can I get a professional camera reliably cleaned in NYC?

I have a Voigtländer Bessamatic camera with two lens. Everything needs to be cleaned as it's pretty dirty.

Where in NYC can I get this cleaned well for a good price and not have to worry about unscrupulous business practices?

I have never been to the store, nor do I know if they have a service department, but I would check with B&H.

Seconding B&H.. one of the more trusted camera shops in NYC.. if they don't do cleaning themselves they can tell you where to go.

Be wary of the Brooklyn area. Almost all shady/schemey camera dealers online are based in Brooklyn, New York. Not all are bad mind you, just be aware. Further discussed here.

There is a shop where I used to get my film camera cleaned..I don't know the name but it's on 13th St. between 3rd and 4th Ave. They did a great job with a camera that had gotten too damp, and then again when the same camera got sand in it.
