Can you recommend a car service in Washington DC?
To pick up 4 people and drive them a few miles (within the District), then either wait a couple of hours and take them back or else come back and pick them up at a set time. An actual limo is a little bit much, and I'm not sure that the ubiquitous Town Car will fit four people, so maybe some kind of "luxury" SUV? A Navigator? For a weekday aftern
I'm sending it for a client, so I'd prefer someone you have experience with/someone you know has experience with. If there's a service you know I should avoid, that's great info as well.

When my boss goes to DC, I book him a car through Capital City Limo 301-982-6100. I had to set up an account though. I do not know if you have to if you are only going to use them for this one trip.

Oh and a sedan car can easily fit 4 people if someone sits in the front. Requesting an SUV will cost a lot and really isn't worth it for 4 people.

I need a cab at 4:00am on a weekday not long ago to catch a flight and was nervous about finding one that early. I ended up using Link Limousine. The Town Car was new and the driver was not only nice, he showed up early.
I'll definitely use them again.

Red Top Sedan, affiliated with Red Top Cab in Arlington. Standard town cars; nothing fancy. They've been reliable for me, though I haven't used them that often.

Sunny's Limos. It's what our office uses and they're very reliable.

Response by poster: Follow up for anyone interested - I ended up using Atlantic Limo (see first comment). They were very helpful, the vehicle was nice, and they were on time. Very pleased with them.
I ended up choosing the Lincoln Navigator for the 4 people - I just wanted to err on the side of more space.
There was no problem with any of the other recommendations, so I'm not "not recommending" any of the others.
Thanks everyone - it really helped me out, and I was so much more comfortable with the choice.
