Hawkman Car Decal

I keep seeing a weird decal on cars- it's a circle, maybe 8" diameter, with this weird hawk-man thing inside flexing its wings/arms and screaming. This is in Minneapolis- I don't know if this is purely local, or nationwide. Does anyone know what the hell it signifies? Is it some sort of hawkman army planning a violent revolt?
Response by poster: Also nope. It's more like a half man/half bird thing, shown from the waist up, flexing in the traditional "muscleman" pose.

I think I know the one you're thinking of... I always assumed it was the Rebel logo from Star Wars, but now that I look at it I realize it's something different.

Is it related to the SilverHawks? Toys and cartoons from the 80s are seeing a nostalgic surge in popularity right now...

I say we kidnap Bush and send him to Central Africa, just in case. I welcome our new hawkmen overlords!

it's not flexing. i think it might be a phoenix or firebird. it has its arms upraised, kinda like the us air force's new logo.
totally haven't the slightest idea what it is. i also thought it was the rebel logo. it's usually red, also.
i think it might be a teenager thing.

Is it black with a red background, arms raised overhead, with the head looking up and to the right? I'm having a hell of a time finding it on Google, but I'm sure it's some sort of skateboard logo, and I've seen them around for years. If I only remembered the name of the company...

I know the sticker you're talking about. I see it (mostly on newish pickup trucks driven by youngish guys) in LA and have wondered the same thing.

Danelope -- I dunno if that's what the poster was looking for, but I've been trying to find that logo for awhile. ('Course, I live in PHX, so maybe it's natural...) Thanks!

Weird. I always figured it was an evil version of Phoenix's logo.

A picture would be grand. I'm in M/SP and I can't say I've noticed anything similar to what you're describing. Is it more prevalent in certain areas of Minneapolis?

Response by poster: Danelope has it. Thanks a ton, that's been driving me nuts. Guess it's dragons, not hawkmen, that I need to worry about.
Thanks also to whoever that was that emailed me.

Sunglasses? How lame. Here I thought maybe Minneapolis was cool enough to have an underground SilverHawks fan club...
