So I caved and ordered a new Macbook...

... what sort of cool share-/freeware tools and toys are out there that I should know about? I'm looking for tips and links to Mac stuff (apps/extensions/utilities) that made you go "Now that's cool!" when you first saw them. I typically use mine for writing/editing and audio production (Reason, primarily), but I'm also curious about any generally useful add-ons that are floating around the 'net. I apologize in advance if this question is too nebulous.

as a longtime unix/linux/X11 user, i cant get by without a virtual desktop program. check out virtue destkop, its quite nice.

The Photobooth app that ships with the MacBook has been ridiculously engaging to everyone that I have shown it to.
