Where's a single guy to ski?

SkiFilter: Where to go for a (relatively) inexpensive ski trip?
Priorities: maximize ski time, minimize travel time, have fun on the slopes and maybe even off the slopes, too.
I'm a 29 y/o male with a serious ski bug. I learned to ski only a few years ago, and am a moderate intermediate skiier (mostly blues and easier blacks). Due to changes at work, I didn't ski at all last season, and had really hoped to go twice this year. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL (again) in October, and am just now finishing rehab. My earliest ski trip would probably be late-February. I would love to go twice this year, if I can keep the costs reasonable. So: where do I go?
Important facts to consider:
- I'll be going solo, since most of the people I'd normally ski with have already gone, or have already made plans. I'd love it if I could find somebody to go with me to help split lodging costs, or even just to have someone to hang out with, but... I really just want to ski. Meeting people would be icing on the cake.
- I live in the Southeast US. Denver and SLC are easy flights. Reno would be a little harder flight, but not unreasonable. I don't want to burn up a full day traveling on each end of the trip.
- Luxury is not terribly important to me. I just want a nice, comfortable place to stay that's convenient to the slopes, and gets me on the mountain quickly.
- Nightlife isn't terribly important, since I'm going solo.
- I've skied Copper, Breck, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude. I liked all of them, but probably enjoyed Alta the most.
- It would be nice if there were plenty of places to eat close by, so I wouldn't be stuck with resort food. But that's not a huge priority.
- I've had knee surgery twice (soccer). Ice scares me. I'd probably be skiing in late Feb. - late March, so places with good mid to late-season snowfall are preferred.
- I don't want to spend a ton of money. If I spend money on any one area, I would want it to be for quality and diversity of skiing.

Maybe Mont Tremblant or another Quebec destination would suit your needs?

I would go to Park City, Utah. It is an easy van ride from the SLC airport, and they have a fun little downtown area, plus free public busses that'll take you anywhere you want to go. You can fly and ski the same day.
