Reg Link Handling?

Regarding my CommonTimes post: Here's a question for all you seasoned MeFi NewsFilter veterans. So many news sources require bogus, worthless, annoying "registration", imagining that they're harvesting tons of valuable marketing information. Bugmenot comes in handy, but I hate to post links to CommonTimes which lead readers to a reg-gate. I'm aware of the NY Times Link Generator which does an end-around of the reg gateway. And BugMeNot sure comes in handy. I'm also tagging with "reglink" where appropriate. Any other suggestions for dealing with reg-required links?

going through the Google news page lets me through some articles that BugMeNot can't foil. That said, it's not a solution that will scale well (or last more than a few days).

Response by poster: Good suggestion, thanks.
I tend to browse headlines via my RSS reader, open interesting articles in my browser, and post to CommonTimes with the bookmarklet.

I wonder if the ReBlog guys have any solutions to this problem.

Googling the first sentence of the article will often lead one to registration free reprints in other papers.
