Is Matt Drudge gay?
As far as I can tell, he's gay.
I remember learning this only about six months ago, when someone was talking about how a gay-bashing guy was going to out him to his employers (a news organization), and this crackpot CC'd drudge hoping for a headline. Then the news org guy CC'd all and said asking drudge to out him would be barking up the wrong tree. From there I looked at a few links and there's a lot of he said, she said kind of stuff, but never a sniff of a denial from Drudge.
Knowing this for the past few months, it has definitely colored my view, as I can see Drudge avoiding gay issues like a giant fat blindspot. You don't see gay marriage come up all that often on the drudgereport.

Sure looks like it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Disinfopedia:
Jeanette Walls, a rival gossip-monger at MSNBC, gave Drudge a taste of his own medicine, reporting that he is gay in her book, Dish: The Inside Story on the World of Gossip. Drudge denied the allegation, but former right-wing journalist David Brock also describes Drudge as gay in his book, Blinded by the Right. Brock, who is openly gay, describes receiving flirtatious emails from Drudge and going on a date with him to a gay bar.

Would it be rude to ask why you wanted to know?
Is your interest professional, theoretical or, um, personal?

I don't see Drudge avoiding gay issues--I think he posts about them quite regularly, maybe even a bit moreso than your average newspaper. And he routinely posts AIDS-related news, especially stories tracking the progress towards a possible vaccine, and stories tracking the latest STD trends and outbreaks (i.e. syphillis outbreaks in San Francisco), which are of especial interest to gay men.
In other news, the very handsome CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is also a member of the team, and he's Gloria Vanderbilt's son.

STDs are a special interest of gay men? Wha?
A number of the outbreaks, including the aforementioned syphilis outbreak in SF, were spread among men who were meeting via gay online chat services. (Link) And I'm sure you're aware of the devastating toll AIDS has taken on the gay community...right?

A Toronto Star story prompted a published correction that I cannot put my hands on.
