I think the question is: is San Diego devoid of "live culture", i.e.. concerts, gallery openings, public hangings, etc. for folks to do? Or not.

I had the most amazing potato burrito there, in a small shack near a highway next to a thrift store. Therefore, culinary culture thrives in San Diego.

There's a bunch of hookah bars downtown! And go hit the clubs on Garnet in PB! You could try to get into Stingaree, but you have to be hawt! Just hang out in Mission Valley a lot and you'll find out about all kinds of things!
