Hi, How do I create a PDF Letterhead Template? or in other words: Does any one how to print to a pdf letterhead template? Thanks!

I want to create PDF docs that would look like the printed version that I print on preprinted letterhead paper.

Thanks!

You should be able to get a .pdf of your letterhead from whoever designed your (actual, physical) letterhead. I would just call or email them. The printer might well be able to help you as well if you don't have access to the designer. Then you can add any text you like.

If you can't get hold of the designer or the printer, how about scanning a piece of actual letterhead and working from there? If neither of these solutions will do, the workaround would be to create a copy of your letterhead in a layout program - plop in the logo, address line, etc, YMMV as some letterhead is waaaaay easier to copy than others - save it, and then add text as above.

Best answer: If you have Acrobat Pro, you open up your text file that you've printed to PDF. Then you go to:

Document > Background > Add/Replace.

Under "Source," select the blank letterhead PDF. Then hit OK.
