I saw this symbol or statement on a car recently. Can anyone help translate or tell me what it means?

It's the word "Allah" in Arabic, which means God.

My best friend who is Muslim has a similar display hanging from his rearview mirror, too. He keeps it there as a reminder to observe Islam and it's teachings in all he does; to beware of God's constant presence and the importance of being humble and patient. Esp. when dealing with crazy drivers on the road, I'm sure.

Sorry, that should read: 'to be AWARE' not 'beware', ha.
