Keeping a daily task list on a Windows computer?

Keeping a daily task list on my Windows computer: is it possible? I don't need anything fancy, just a piece of software or a hack that lets me mark tasks as complete when I'm done with them, that brings yesterday's uncompleted tasks forward to today, and that doesn't bother me with tomorrow's tasks before tomorrow. Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish this?
I've found nTodo, but it doesn't run on windows. I've been using Franklin Covey for Outlook v. 1.4 for years, but it's long discontinued and now I've lost the disks.
This sounds like such a simple thing to me, but extensive searching on Google hasn't turned up a thing. I'd appreciate any help that anyone could give me.

Outlook does have this, and Franklin Covey now makes Plan Plus for outlook, I'm pretty happy with it.

I installed Plan Plus when it first came out, but it was completely unstable and poorly designed; it ruined my data and I had to restore from a backup. But maybe they've fixed that now?
Don't modern versions of Outlook have this sort of functionality built in?
It does? Where? (I've got Outlook 2003 and 2002, depending on which computer I'm using).
I use Microsoft OneNote for this.
I've never really used OneNote - I'll have to give it a try.

The free (and very nice) MyYahoo Calendar has a task list feature. You can set the calendar or the MyYahoo home page your browser start page, and keep your tasks in your face daily.
If you prefer an offline app and don't have/want Outlook, Time & Chaos is an excellent all-around PIM.
