demonoid is gone and I am sad. Is there anything else like it?

Is there another torrent site as quality oriented, large, eclectic, and browseable as demonoid was? And can I have an invite?

There's something of a hole in my life now where Demonoid was and I'd be asking this on some p2p site except they tend to be full of idiots. What set that site apart was the quality and the fine-grained sort filters. Type of media, genre, language, and quality. You could select > music > classical > lossless and just browse. Or movies > film noir > DVD > English. Or whatever took your fancy. I haven't heard of any sites that equaled it in the quality of the content or the general maturity of the members -- people wrote complete, accurate descriptions, for example -- and the old standbys like mininova and piratebay are really only good if you already know what you want. If I were aware of sites that equaled the dearly departed d, I wouldn't be posting this. But I can't stomach all the idiots I'd need to wade through to find them any other way.

In short, no. There are a few similar to Demonoid, but you won't get into them without getting an invite from a personal friend. Your best bet would be to join multiple trackers that cover the specifics.. t.v., music, movies, apps, and games. Join Filesharingtalk and do some research, this question has been answered plenty of times
