demonoid is gone and I am sad. Is there anything else like it?

Is there another torrent site as quality oriented, large, eclectic, and browseable as demonoid was? And can I have an invite?
There's something of a hole in my life now where Demonoid was and I'd be asking this on some p2p site except they tend to be full of idiots. What set that site apart was the quality and the fine-grained sort filters. Type of media, genre, language, and quality. You could select > music > classical > lossless and just browse. Or movies > film noir > DVD > English. Or whatever took your fancy. I haven't heard of any sites that equaled it in the quality of the content or the general maturity of the members -- people wrote complete, accurate descriptions, for example -- and the old standbys like mininova and piratebay are really only good if you already know what you want. If I were aware of sites that equaled the dearly departed d, I wouldn't be posting this. But I can't stomach all the idiots I'd need to wade through to find them any other way.

This post was deleted for the following reason: semi-legal request coupled with a send me an invite doubly cursed this post. -- mathowie
I know they are different beasts but, maybe try Usenet?
