DC picture framing?

Good art framing places in Washington DC?
I just moved to Washington and need to get some art framed. Any recommendations for framing places? Things I care about: (1) selection of frames and materials; (2) high quality and care, such that they won't damage my pieces; (3) being in DC or close, as opposed to way out in the suburbs. Price is less of an issue.

If you're willing to go to Baltimore (which I'm guessing you're not, judging from your post), James Pierce on Charles St., not far from Penn Station, does an excellent job. I've had several prints framed by them. (As you probably know, make sure, wherever you go, that you request museum-quality, acid-free materials.)

I've had good luck with both Gary Taylor Fine Art Framing (1843 Columbia Rd. in Adams Morgan) and Framer's Workshop (4431 Wisconsin Ave. in Tenleytown).

Actually that should be "Framer's Work Room".
