LAX:How to get T1 to TBIT as fast as possible. Need answer real quick.

Walk, it will take less than 10 minutes (depending on how much stuff you have). You don't have time to wait for a shuttle that stops at every terminal.

Go outside and grab a cab someone is just getting out of. Offer him fifty bucks.

Agreed, walk.

Go outside, turn right, and walk past Terminal 2, then Terminal 3, and then bear left with the loop road as it curves around -- TBIT is right in front of you.

That would be idiotic, thehmsbeagle, because the clockwise traffic flow is opposite of the direction priorpark17 wants to go. A cabbie could take a short cut across, which the free "A" shuttlebus wouldn't do on the loop, but you'd still get there faster walking.

Goodness! I'm glad you made the part where you called me an idiot teensy, or I might be taken aback.

For the record, traffic circulation at LAX (and from Terminal 1 to TBIT) is counter-clockwise, so thehmsbeagle's answer was perfectly reasonable.

The fastest solution is to go down to the lower deck/arrivals area, where there is way, way less traffic than the departures area above.

Doh! You're right, mdonley, I'm the idiot -- sorry 'bout that, thehmsbeagle.
(But I'd still walk, and keep the $50.)
