Linking Flickr account to MeFi account. How?

I've searched round the site, google-fu'd, but can't figure it out.

This belongs in MetaTalk.

But all you have to do is go to your profile/preferences here on the blue, and go to the field that says Flickr name, and type in your flickr username. And voila, through the miracle of.....er, something, your last 6 photos will appear on your userpage.

I don’t want to turn it on, but it doesn’t actually work for me, btw, so it may not work for the poster either. Or perhaps there’s a delay.

Response by poster: Thank you iconomy. I must have looked at my preferences page a dozen times and just didn't see that field. Wood for the trees an' all.

Was driving me crazy.

I am guessing there is a delay as well Aidan. I'm not seeing anything happen straight away.

As I found out when I asked on MeTa, make sure you use what flickr calls your user name, not your flickr handle. When signed in, on the upper right it will say "Signed in as ________" That's the name you use.

I just did this, and it removed the img tag I had in my user blurb, and now I can't put it back.

This sucks.

Yes, folks, making any changes to your user pages causes you to lose any img tags you used to have there. Beware!

The username you need to put in the box on your profile is the one on your Flickr URL (flickr.com/photos/UserName).
