Stamps as part of memorial thank you...
I received a thank you note from a family who had a memorial service recently. Included in the thank you was some postage stamps. What type of custom is that...is it a particular ethnic group (the family is asian) and why?

If not (as in, there's enough postage for a return letter), then I'd assume is so you can write them back thanking them for their thank you note at no additional cost to you. Just a guess.
Are you a pastor or some other religious figure? Asian churches, especially in minority Christian areas, can be quite impecunious.
