How many Christmas Trees are in Rockefeller Center?

What's up with the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree?

My roommate and I have an argument going about the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center? Is it one very large tree, or is it in fact a bunch of smaller trees strapped together?

Please link to the sites that say the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is several small trees strapped together. I could use a laugh.

Maybe you or your roomie's thinking of Chicago. Our official Christmas "tree" is a bunch of smaller ones wrapped together. Lame.
