Help me find a DLP lamp?

I need a lamp for my Toshiba 44NHM84 DLP. The repair place wants $471.01 for the lamp, this seems a tad high to me. I am, however, having a hard time finding a lamp from a non-Ebay source online. Where should I go for DLP lamp replacements?

oops sorry, that's ebay, but the user selling it looks fine and besides there's another in froogle there that's a tad lower than $470. you don't say what your definition of a "tad" is, though.
what's wrong with ebay?

That sounds like about the right price to me. If the repair place is local, I recommend you get it from them at that price.

Yeah I eventually found just the lamp. I'm figuring that Toshiba is the only manufacturer for the lamp so all prices will be the same price. I'm going local. Thanks.

That's the biggest hidden cost of projectors, unfortunately.
I just happened to notice the following: Evo Pojector V-1 which takes standard projector bulbs, at $30. (no affiliation, just pointing out the first projector I've seen that doesn't take expensive bulbs)
To answer the original question, the bulb price looks about right.
