So many subcultures, so little time...

What are the oddest or most interesting subcultures you can think of?

I love reading about "odd" subcultures. Passionate people make me happy. I'm always on the hunt for new subcultures--I collect them, in a way. Sometimes I've found new hobbies through these searches; other times, I've made new friends. Enthusiasm is contagious.

What are some cool subcultures you know about? The more obscure they are, the better! :) If you have any sites or message boards (even for the groups I've already listed!), please link them!

Example "cultures" or hobbyists I've found interesting: birders, furries, break-off groups of Harry Potter fans (wizard rockers, fanfiction mavens), bikers, tattoo people, bodybuilders, pro-ana, amateur linguists, puppet-makers, scanlators, rom hackers, historical reenactors, spiritualists, nudists, otherkin, vampires, professional Scrabble players... you get the idea! Fandom groups are awesome, too.

(Note: I fall into a couple of the aforementioned groups, so I can throw no stones. I'm just full of innate curiosity :)
