Looking for 2006 stats or reports on weblog tool market share. Ideally include installed systems like MovableType and hosted platforms like TypePad.

Will, feel free to email me offline at anil@sixapart.com and I might be able to help you Flocksters with some info. I haven't seen any good third-party info online anywhere, or I'd gladly provide a link.

For what it's worth, I think most of the easily-googlable stuff is pretty radically inaccurate, mostly because of geographic bias, poor sample sets, or poor methodology.
